Dr. Jayadev’s journey in healthcare began at K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangaluru, where a strong strong foundation in clinical practice was laid. His medical education shaped his commitment to ethical care, empathy, and resilience in navigating complex, ethically & legally sensitive healthcare scenarios.

The Hawk Eye
Driven by his experiences, Dr. Jayadev pursued advanced studies in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, honing his critical thinking and attention to detail. His research, including a widely-recognized method for estimating stature from skeletal remains, has contributed to forensic science.

The Just Mind
A desire to understand healthcare law and ethics led Dr. Jayadev to study law at Cochin University, broadening his perspective and deepening his expertise in healthcare policy, legal drafting, and negotiation. This knowledge complements his clinical background, enabling him to address complex healthcare challenges from both medical and legal perspectives.

Litigation Mitigation
At Rajagiri Hospital, Dr. Jayadev addressed key ethical issues in healthcare, including end-of-life decisions, patient autonomy, and medical negligence. As a medicolegal consultant, he pioneered Kerala’s first Clinical Forensic Medicine Unit, ensuring the integrity of medical evidence for justice. He also served as guest faculty in Medical Jurisprudence for NUALS, Kochi.

Thought Leadership
As Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Rajagiri Hospital, Cochin, Dr. Jayadev transformed the hospital operations by improving efficiency, patient experience, and turnaround times (TATs) using lean management and data-driven solutions. His expertise in conflict resolution and strategy motivated him to complete the Senior Management Program at IIM Kozhikode.

His leadership also focused on digital transformation, sustainability, and patient safety. His appetite for innovation and risk has earned him the repute as 'Disruptive Leader'!
