Nitin Sharma currently leads the Strategic Partnerships with News Publishers for Google in India. In this role, he manages relationships with news organisations, finding ways for them to reach new audiences and build new revenue streams via Google’s products in order to grow their businesses. He also plays a pivotal role in co-designing and shaping Google’s News initiatives in with and for the News Industry
At Google, he has worked extensively with large organizations in India across News, Media, Entertainment and Telco to help them understand how to leverage Google Products and Solutions across Google Search, Google Assistant, Google Chrome, Google News and Google Maps. Over the last 9+ years at Google, he has worked extensively to develop solutions to meet the needs of Indian users.
Before joining Google, Nitin was leading New Business Development at Adobe, where he launched new products and led strategy projects for Adobe’s Print and Publishing Products. He has also worked in corporate strategy and software consulting roles with Dell and Tata Consultancy Services.
He has 20+ years of business development and sales experience, is a technology enthusiast and passionately follows the advancements that can have significant impact and will define the future of the world. Nitin received a B.Tech. in Computer Science from NSIT,Delhi and MBA from FMS, University of Delhi.
